Hi Anthony,
The IDLEPC values are per IOS, not per PC or per OS...
And sometimes they don't even help, vista or XP... I guess you really have to run *NIX with dynamips...
I had a lab running smooth on a really high end server.. but with 2008 server the dynamips would crash...

Subject: Dynamips idlepc value
Guys,
I wanted to post a screen shot of dynamips running on vista. This is the
idlepc = 0x603e2804 On the screen shot it shows the ver. It is running 3
percent on cpu with intial configs loaded(runs 33-45 when fully loaded). It
is IE dynamips vol2 lab1. It is running on a 500$ gateway. The one thing to
keep cpu values down is start each device then teminal in then hit enter a
few times to get prompt then move on to next device. I hear a lot of bashing
on vista but it runs ok for me. I am no dynamips guru but it works great for
me. I dont want to spark a debate I just wanted to share my idlepc value and
version and a screenshot to show it working and hope it helps someone else.
If you want to see a screenshot email direct. I did not know you could not
send attachments. Sorry Paul.
