You have made a good point. Not once in the 6 years since I passed the lab
has an employer asked me for my plaque. They are more interested in #1 me
being a CCIE and #2 being able to do the job.
While having something nice looking for the wall that might be more "worthy"
to reflect the time and effort you put into passing the lab would be nice,
it is just a token.
So whatever the plaque looks like, it is a symbol of the achievement,
display it with pride. Some may think it is ugly, but you can enjoy it
because you know what it took to get it.
