Re: R&S V4....Shorter time for config...should we worry or be

The strategy from a workbook point of view really should not change.
Right now, you're faced with the idea of a number of daunting (and
potentially self-imploding) tasks to complete in an 7.5 hour period of time.

Moving into the v4 blueprint, your time will be reduced to 5.5 hours.
Logically your number of tasks will also be reduced. But at the same
time, the caliber of tasks, or kinds of things you are asked to do will
not change. So while it may seem shorter, that does not equate to easier.

Take out more of the tertiary (aka easy) things and concentrate on the
important ones!

So study methods will be mostly the same. The focus on troubleshooting
should be good. If you have been following through the IE workbooks,
especially with Vol1, you will already be well on the way to a sound
basis in thinking "how do I verify?" which is another viewpoint of
"what isn't working?".

So we're all well aware of the level of thinking that will go into the
labs, and we'll continue to be working on over-preparing you for the lab
exam which makes you more well-prepared for real life issues!

If you have any questions or concerns, certainly feel free to contact me!
