I would put another 2 gigs in there. I run it on my laptop(duo 2.6 with
4gigs 64bit vista) and i get about 7percent running ie or narbiks topology.
I run vista. I have tried all the os (fedora, ubuntu, and dynslax with gns-3)
including a macbookpro. From my exp it is finding the right ios and idlepc
value. With vista I had to start each device one by one then log in to the
router then the cpu would drop then go on to the next router(Trick Dale
Kling taught me:)). Takes a few minutes but works great. The one thing bad
is you spend a sheet load of time trying to figure this out when you should
be studying. I will note weird things happen with dynamips you dont know if
it is your config or dynamips you end up spending a huge amount of time
trying to figure it out I guess that will help on the new blueprint!!!. It
is great if you have time and a small budget.Just a note it works best on
server 2003 dual quad core and 8 gigs of ram lol!!!
