My God... Does that mean I didn't have to wear the fancy ball dress when I
did my lab?

Now I suddenly understand why everybody kept staring at me... :)

It would make more of a statement if you went in a tuxedo.

But otherwise, there is no dress code. As long as you are appropriately
covered. ;)
