Hi All
clients=== CPE-------LAC------------LNS----<<< Multicast Feed
I am facing an issue with PPP client sessions dialed over L2TP tunnels. The
issue I face is that, after establishing concurrent sessions through same
tunnel (clients belonging to the same domain) LNS assigns ip addresses in the
same range to the clients. When I enable pim on these sessions (ie on virtual
templates on CPE router), the PIM updates go over other v-templates through
which I don't want them to go. This way LNS wrongly selects a session to
forward multicast traffic. I need to send the PIM join over the desired VT,
rather than a common VT updating on behalf of all other VTs.
The root cause of issue is all VTs are pointed towards the same LNS loopbaack
ip.
Here is CPE routing table
10.0.0.0/8 is variably subnetted, 3 subnets, 3 masks
