Excellent question, but one I do not have the answer to!

 From a business perspective, while it would be a good idea to do so, it
would probably also be a better idea to keep an employee to do that lab
work instead of laying them off just to automate the stuff. A person
can do more than remote PDU's can.

In the long-run though, I'd think it would be a good feature to add!
