AW: CCIE SP...

Hi Brad,

Well it's sad that SP gets so less attention.....such an interesting
topic....(I have to say that, I work for an SP..hehehe). Would be nice if
there would be some of the products which are available for R&S...but o.k.,
somehow it will work.

It is very interesting to me that the demand has increased for SP only due
to the core network task. Why are all the people out there sooooo terribly
afraid of the core network questions??? I cannot understand that. If you are
ready for the lab, these questions are absolutely no big deal....

I mean, one does also not know what is coming for the lab part, anything
could be there. Or are people cheating? Do they know in advance the lab
part?? hmmmm....

I took my first attempt in December 08, there was no Core question. In my
second and final attempt in February they've just added this part. I didn't
care and I definitely didn't do any special study for it...as I said, either
you are ready or not....smile...

Anyway, would be cool if also SP would get more attention and more nice
products to study...

We've looked at it for a while, but the market is so small for CCIE SP
compared to Security, Voice, and R&S. Although with the recent addition
of the core knowledge portion to R&S, it has increased the demand for
SP. The only kicker is, that ALL of the tracks will soon have the core
knowledge section (including SP), so that will probably shift the demand
once again. (IMHO)

Are there no plans out there to make a product for the SP written, as IE
