I am about to take the UC Lifecycles test, so once completing the in-depth
technical know how that is included in that material I can perform any
upgrade on the UC side that is needed. Bring it!!

Now excuse me as I remove my tongue from my cheek ...

In all seriousness, it isn't as much as an upgrade as a reinstall if you are
running on the older Windows 2000 platform for Unity. If so, it is a backup
and clean wipe of the system, installing the 2003 platform and then
reimporting your old data via the DIRT utility. If on the 2003 platform
already it is much less painful. Are you using the same box or migrating to
a different server? This will affect licensing. Really just a lot of
tedious "to-do's" that are probably best found by googling if you are
planning on doing this yourself.

I highly recommend to consider going with Unity Connection 7x if you are
just in the planning phase, as that seems to be the direction Cisco is
leaning toward. Plus it is on the Linux appliance so you don't have to
worry with MS updates. In addition, there are really good cookbook
documents on how to perform this on CCO. Just my opinion, though.
