Yeah, Scott's pretty darn accurate with his response below. None of the
grey market vendors will be effected much/if any immediately. Over time,
that could potential change, but it would definitely take some time and
other things to happen. I don't think the changes coming are
significantly major as someone pointed to; more like an "update" and
some other potential options. Now I can tell you that the Cisco 360
program for CCIE Voice is going to be awesome!!! :) (but I cant say
why...yet!)

Darby - The sky isn't falling.
Every program goes through rearrangements. Some places are more public
about it than others. Sometimes rumors get out of control.
Either way, they are fun to watch.
Whatever anyone's perception of changes (if any) happen to be, the best
thing to do is ask yourself "Does this make sense?". Not whether you
agree with something or
not (e.g. the core technology questions), but asking whether it makes
sense.
Some of the rumors I hear about make me laugh, because they don't pass a
simple "sanity check". Either way though, no matter what level of
change, 5%, 10%, 30%, 80% shouldn't make any difference right here,
right now.
And as for a method to wipe the other vendors off the map, that by
itself doesn't pass the sanity check. By any stretch of the imagination
(e.g. even if they really wanted to), smaller companies are inherently
more nimble than larger ones. So any of us have a much better chance of
doing just fine with any perceived changes in the program.
The only thing that may change would be more a concern for Brad
(CCBootcamp) than the rest of us. Trying to split hairs between Cisco
Learning Partner and offering grey-market materials is going to become
harder and harder. But that isn't my concern! :)
Relax, sit back, and enjoy the ride! Rumors != Reality.
