If they did make a 360 certificate a pre-requisite to sit the lab, I think the CCIE would lose alot of respect. It would certainly lose much of my respect for the certification, as at that point I would see it more as a Cisco fundraiser, rather than what is supposed to be. Also, there is no way I could afford it, so I suppose I'd have to move on in my life to something else...maybe Juniper : )

Subject: OT: Rumor Control: Major CCIE RS Changes - Do or Do Not Book Your Lab
Ok - Fresh off the press.
Cisco is getting ready to announce a major shift in the Cisco 360 Program.
Some say is it posed to wipe the "Grey Market Vendors" off the map in favor
of the "Evil" Cisco 360 Program.
Well - Maybe it's an April Fool's Joke...
Maybe it is true.
Either way - Be afraid...
I think the Cisco 360 was not working out as well...
Give me your born for 6-12 month subscription was a load of BS..
Compared to the competition....
Hmm?
And the rumor further says.... The Cisco 360 Program is withdrawn...
Going to check now.
This is hot as horse-shit!
Take it for what is worth.
