Well at least 1 of course :-)
I wouldn't bother to much on the number of replies you get as long as you
GET the replies.
You'll see a router sometimes replying with every interface it has PIM
enabled on, but this isn't bad, you'll know your multicast config is
working.

Vinny,
Make sure the receiver doesnt switch to a SPT path that doesnt have
PIM enabled.
Try 'ip pim spt-threshold infinity' on the receiver and see if you
run into this. Otherwise it might be something else, kinda hard to
tell.
Might also be a dynamips issue.
