Godswill,

I assume you used 8-bit ulaw with CCCIT? I can't remember if I used a .wav on CME or not, but they are particular about encoding.

I suppose you meant 'multicast-moh' goes under ephone; I think you really only mess with the ephone-dn when you are doing live moh.

In the past, each time I play a .wav file, all I hear from the phone is noise. Does that have anything to do with the frequency of my recording? Cisco documentation tend to suggestion that .wav files can be used, but has anyone implemented it with success? I have not had any problem with .au files.

  Few things to consider..

  1. Make sure your Multicast MOH address is not in 224.x.x..x range. it should be in 239.xx.x. range.

  Config t
  telephony-services

  moh minuet.wav
  multicast moh 239.1.1.1 port 2000

  2. CME version 3 doesn't support MOH, only 4 and above.

  3. if you've configured phone for pagging-dn or unicast keyword then cme v4 will also not support moh.

  4. MOH is supported for internal calls only :) bummer!

  5. in Ephone-dn make sure you've multicast-moh keyword :)

      Hey

Are you using ip communicator or a physical ip phone?

      Cheers,

        Hi experts,

I have configured the CME MoH 100% correct, but I still can't hear my MoH.

I hear the double beep that indicates that I am on hold but I don't hear
        mine.

        Any advice about that?

        Regards,
