Re: Disabling spanning tree

Well someone already mentioned turning the port into a layer 3 with the "no
switchport"
Based upon your question:

Assume SW2 Fa 0/15 will never connect to a switch or bridge!
desable spanning tree on this interface, you may not use no spanning-tree
commands to do this!
the interface must be up !!

"no switchport" might be the safest answer with very little detail. What
does your SG say?
