Farouk, thanks for the pointer. I think it was my IP phone internal switch
acting abit dodgy, cauing the delay for the PC NIC to become enabled. I
changed my IP phone and all seems to be working as expected right now.
Ryan, yes, that was a mere typo. Its 15secs and not 15mins.
