Could it be the NIC on your PC? You are binding the dynamips routers to the
real NICs, and then connecting them to real switches, right? IS-IS hellos
are padded to the MTU size, then add the dot1q header and maybe the NIC on
the PC is dropping it.
Or maybe try "no isis hello padding" under the interface.*
