One thing to consider if you want to redistribute the virtual-access 1
That number may change from time to time So you cant configure
Rotuer ospf 1
Redistribute connected subnets route-map CONN>OSPF

Route-map CONN>OSPF permit 10
 Match interface virtual-access 1
Route-map CONN>OSPF permit 20
 Match interface virtual-template 1

First line you cant because the number #1 can change from time to time.
Second line you cant because virtual-template is always down/down so it wont
show up in the routing table.

Try using ACL matching the subnet or a prefix-list

Raghav,

That will always be the case. The Virtual Template (VT) interface will
always be down/down. It is not a physical or even a logical interface
but simply the template which holds the parameters for Virtual-Access
interfaces to be cloned from. Thanks.

Shaukat

Subject: Regarding Virtual Template

Hi Experts,

Just a silly question. When we create Virtual-Templates, it
automatically creates virtual-access for it.My query is, is it normal
to see Virtual-Access up and Virtual template down.
Does this output looks ok to everyone??

Serial0/0 unassigned YES unset up

Serial0/0.2 131.1.12.1 YES manual up

Serial0/0.3 unassigned YES manual up

Virtual-Access3 131.1.14.1 YES TFTP up
