Kocharians,
If CCIEs are TOO good and they know how everything work, and they give you
good recommendation all the time, then, why do you exclude your CCIE number
from your signature?
try go take a nap, it helps alot.

Oletu,
If CCIEs are NOT that good and they dont know how things work, and they give
you bad recommendation, then, why do you include your CCIE number in your
signature?

I think by definition that qualifies me for the list, right?
But I still have time to "change my mind". See I'm arguably stronger
with Firewalls and VPNs than I used to be Routers and Switches. And IPS's and
ACS ain't nothing but a thang... and then they did me a favor and removed my
achilles heel that was the VPN Concentrator - again my weakest link.
So.... it just depends...
And I even wrote my own ASA Study sheet... with the fixuns...
And thanks to one of my last co-workers I learned a lot about those ole
pesky IPSec VPNs and somewhere along the way I met the DMVPNs and I managed to
sit through reading and practicing 3 whole Orange Cisco Press Books on VPNs...
well one was Green.

Points well taken.
I have a score report and can schedule a lab at will. I just have not
done so for the RS. I did schedule one for the Security back in February.
I'm still not sure I am going to sit that date yet. But if you need to see my
registration it is still valid.
I did not register for an RS at the moment.
So I'm a little multi-talented... just not registered for the RS Lab
at the moment.
Please do not respond to this email.

Darby,
I know you, we have spoken in the past and I know you have passed the
written....at one point we wanted to integrate our labs together.
I was surprised to read that you are taking a leave from your lab
preparations and since I know you love posting and will not take a leave from
that;
I wanted to remind you that, in addition to one passing the written,
a scheduled lab is also stated as a requirement. Atleast from my experience,
if one's money is on the line (via a scheduled lab); that brings a renewal
focus and energy.
And, this is not an attempt to pick on anyone.
Narbik, passing the ccie lab does not mean that one is sharp and not
passing it does mean anything otherwise; and I was not trying to convey
anything remotely close to that.
Sometime ago, while trying to resolve a looping condition between a
layer-2 switching network and a layer-2 mpls cloud; one ccie guy adviced that
we should configure portfast on the layer-2 links interconnecting the
switches. I knew immediately that, that was not one of his brightest advice.

Hah!
So you don't think I even have my written passed Godswill?
Sorry to disappoint - I've passed both the CCIE RS and Security and
am "qualified" by both my old friend...
No I do not have a date scheduled at the moment. But even it I
were taking the lab tomorrow - I probably would not be posting it at this
point.

Darby,
So, are you saying that, you are going to do the right thing and
unsubscribe yourself from the ccie forum or at least limit or eliminate the
OTs?

To subscribe, send a message to ccielab-subscribe_at_groupstudy.com
with the body containing the following information:
Real Name:
Date you are scheduled to take the Lab:

Where you Live (optional):
Again, this list is only open to people who have passed the CCIE
Written exam and are schedued (or have passed) the Lab.

I'm not really using my blog to sell - unless Free is a sales
pitch.
What I am doing is giving away the farm.
I'm not sure if I'm going to pursue a lab attempt this year my
friend so it
might be hard to get it unless Cisco awards Honary CCIE's...
:)
I'm not sure I'm competing with anyone...
