Cisco is a big company. You can't expect every single PowerPoint
presentation to go through an approval process such that all content
is "Cisco endorsed". This slide pack probably never went anywhere near
the business unit(s) inside Cisco that are concerned with dodgy
learning vendors.

In this case, it's pretty obvious, to me, that the author (Gay
Berryman) is/was oblivious to the fact that the vendors mentioned
provide real/leaked exam content. I'd say it's an honest mistake
(pardon the pun).

Of course, some damage has been done. The best thing to do now is for
the slide pack to be updated or removed. If anyone is in touch with
Gay Berryman, I'd say that alerting her to the issue would be a good
start. Couldn't hurt to drop the Certifications Support folks a line,
either.

Now, instead of filling up my mailbox with more conspiracy theories
and whining, go and do something useful, like a practice lab :-)
