I would add my agreement with Scott and Persio.
Basically, if you know your stuff and UNDERSTAND WHY you are typing in a
command and WHAT that command does in the config, you are prepared for the
lab.
If you just practice labs and look at the solutions and "memorize" the
solutions and commands, you are not really LEARNING the technologies nor are
you doing yourself any favors.
Bottom line, if a person passes the lab with an expert knowledge or with
some other method it comes down to how they perform in the real world. The
job market is competitive. Just because you have a "number" does not mean
that there will not be a technical interview ( I've lived through them ).
