I do not get any money ;-((
I do get the chance to say something nice about a friend! David is good.
BTW - team, as you already know, Scott is a great instructor too! I have
been in his classes also!
(do I get money for that Scott? ;-))

I would presume that you were not supposed to tell people you get paid for
making a referral. :) I could be wrong though!

That is good advice. I just call CCBootcamp and ask to speak to instructor
for this class. His name is David Clark and he is CCIE. He actually talk to
me for an hour on the telephone. Very nice guy. David test me on some
subjects and tell me not to come to the Newark class because I was not
ready. Wow, that is very honest. He tell me he updates his class material
after every class, so I thought that is good. He said I needed to do more
work on practice labs and after I am ready, to then come to the bootcamp.
David also give me names of people who went to his class recently and passed
the lab exam. He said some people have been failing to because of the
computer quiz at the beginning of the lab. He tell me to review materials
for the written exam in order to pass that part of the lab. He gives me a
lot of very good information and said that if I refer people he will make
sure I get $100! Thank you David.

If I were you I'd do my research on a bootcamp before shelling out the cash.
Questions to ask:
- What are the qualifications of the instructor, get a Bio on them, ask
around once you find out who the person or people are. This is probably the
most critical thing about the bootcamp and if it will actually be worthwhile
- What is the retake policy
- What materials/workbooks are included with the class, also are the
workbooks relevant to current blueprint topics. Are they updated or printed
off 3 years ago.
You should be able to browse the archives and come up with a conclusion then
make a sound decision:
Don't make your decision on minor things like "referral bonus"

Is anyone else going to this? I just got an email from CCBootcamp saying
they are having a $2500 special for this certain class. I was thinking of
attending. If you sign up for the class, please tell my name because I get a
$100 referral bonus.
I have been doing practice labs (IE) and I think I am ready and would like
to attend. Is Newark a fun place to go? Should I stay the weekend there and
do anything fun?
