Hi there,
as per my understanding there is no client server relationship in VTP
concept...
The switches forward the VTP messages throughout the domain... and the VTP
message with highest configuration number is taken as most recent and
client or server switch will install Vlans based on this number.
Only thing here is both the servers can add or remove Vlans here...
Regards
Thameem

2 vtp servers with same domain name in a roadcast domain
Guys,
Just wondering what will happen when we have 2 VTP servers with the same
vtp
domain name in a single Broadcast domain?
SW1---------Sw2

Sw3-----------sw4
SW1 and sW2 are VTP server with same domain name .i.e. CCIE
SW3 and sW4 are configured as a VTP client for CCIE domain.
How sw3 and sw4 decides which vtp server they need to connect?
