Hi All,

I was making a quick list of well known multicast addresses and was
consfused regarding Auto-RP, RP-Announce and RP-Discovery.

This old post on group study:
http://www.groupstudy.com/archives/ccielab/200511/msg01152.html

says 224.0.0.39 and 224.0.0.40

Although the IANA link: http://www.iana.org/assignments/multicast-addresses/

Says its 224.0.1.39 and 224.0.1.40

I take it the IANA site is correct? :)

If so are 224.0.0.39 and 224.0.0.40 used for anything major ?
