Just a guess but I think your static route will show as directly connected and thus the network command covers it

Subject: EIGRP Default Route /w ip route 0.0.0.0/0 null0 + network
  0.0.0.0????

Hi Experts,

why would EIGRP inject a 0.0.0.0/0 route with this configuration? I have
always been under the impression that the "network" statement (under EIGRP)
only enables interfaces for participation.

Is there any explanation for this?

EIGRP Default Route /w ip route 0.0.0.0/0 null0 + network 0.0.0.0

hostname AS200-1

router eigrp 200
 network 0.0.0.0

no ip http secure-server
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Null0

D* 0.0.0.0/0 [90/28160] via 10.1.3.1, 00:13:26, FastEthernet0/2

Many Thanks.
