Scott,

I guess you were referring to my statements. Here is what i meant. I should
have been more obvious and specific but it was after a long journey from
Wisconsin to LA (which i had to drive from Phoenix to LA, they cancelled the
flights) and from LA to Chicago and it was around 1 - 2 AM and today i am in
the class teaching.

But this is what i meant:

*Distribute list only filter route from routing table but routes LSA are
still coming in DATA BASE table .*
*This statement about distribute-list IS NOT true. Its ONLY true in some
cases.*

*External type 1 and 2 can be filtered on the ASBR and/or ABR*
*This statement is true.
*
*LSA type 3 mechanism can NOT be used to filter external routes.*
*This statement is true.*
*I HOPE I DID NOT OFFEND ANYONE HERE.*
