GDM and CUE

Hi Friends,

I got through some conflicting infos so just thought to share with you guys
what i understand about Group Delivery Mailboxes and the way CUE behaves.

I understand ;

1. Owner of GDM should be member also to access the GDM voicemail.
2. Member of the GDM who is not owner of GDM cannot delete voicemail.
3. To light the MWI on the Member phones, they should have the ephone-dn
which is forwarding callers to Voicemail (the GDM extn) as their second line
and in normal MWI should be working properly.
4. GDM voicemail can be accessed by all GDM members on CUE even if those
phones dont have GDM extn as the second line.
5. MWI lighting is initiated by CUE and so if any phone need not light MWI
then a translation pattern can be configured on the lines to catch the
called number of the incoming call from CUE and reject it. e.g. if 2444....
is mwi ON and 2445.... is mwi OFF ephone-dns and we dont want MWI to be
lighted on phone with extn 2003 the we can catch called number 24442003 for
incoming call from CUE and reject it.
It will be great if you experts can put it straight in case you find any
incorrect understanding on my part about this subject.
Thanks,
Regards,
Vikram Singh
