I am not sure on this but on a 6500 maybe the port offset is something different. Anybody know?

So i was playing with this command. I have it working on all my virtual
routers. I have it working in real life routers and switches. I tried it on 2
differnt 6509's and had no luck. There are no ACLs blocking anything on these
switches. There is no transport input command to restrict stuff. Yet there is no
ability for me to telnet to the 6509 with say port 3001 after entering the
rotary commnd 1. Is there anyway to do a debug or troubleshoot this. It just
seems the command does not work. Is there a limitation to this command or
something?
