So if we are Bound to Have authentication in OSPF Area 0
and also bounded to Enable Authentication on Interface's Only & not under
Router OSPF
then when we configure a Virtual Area and connect it with Area 0
we have to enable authentication for Virtual link as well - which has to be
done under Rotuer OSPF process.
Although at the same time - if we dont enable authentication here on virtual
Link - we still gets routes successfully.
So how can we tackle this :
if we enable authention for virtual link - we violate the requirment - to
not enable authention in router ospf
&
If we don't enable it for virtual link - ( it will still work fine ) - we
will not be autheniting the whole area 0 - as it come's a part of area 0 now
what the suggestion ? and which solution is prefered ?
