Below is what I have summarized.

-for redistributed routes, the advertised metric is as defined by
redistribution process

-for received routes from other RIP speakers, the advertised metric is
(received + 1), of cause by default following split horizon rule.

-summarization by cmd under the interface is earlier than distribution-list,
so distribution-list will work on summary routes generated by the interface
command

-summary route's metric = the minimum metric of component routes + 1 (by
