Untagged packets will go to the physical interface when the router is
connected to a Dot1Q trunk (unless you specify a particular subinterface to
receive them).

Set the switch to use VLANC for its native VLAN on the port connecting to R1
and it should work.

Hello Everyone,

This is my 1st post ....

VLAN C
create VLAN_A on sub-interface of R1 and create VLAN_C on major interface of
R1

Creating VLAN_A on sub-interface is simple ; but didnt understood the second
part of the question " create VLAN_C on major interface of R1"

On R1
interface fa 0/0.1
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.248

Gurus plz help me to understand the ecorrect solution for 2nd part of the
question
