Hello poeples
When a question is worded as follow:
"In order to prevent multicast feeds from looping around the network,
configure R1 so that it does not send any multicast traffic out its
FastEthernet interface that has a TTL of less than 13."
My understanding of TTL scoping with regard to the interface is
If the Packet TTL >= Interface TTL, then the packet is forwarded
If the Packet TTL < Interface TTL, then the packet is dropped
But I cant make sense of this question.
Should I configure the Multicast TTL Threshold in the interface to be 12 or
13?
Your assistance would be appreciated
