flow control and mls qos

per Doc of 3550 on 12.2, both these features(flow control 802.3z and
mls qos) can not be used at the same time. Is it possible to enable
flow control 802.3z for specific interfaces and leave rest of switch
for mls qos, so which could enable me to do some QOS config.?
