Hello, can any direct me to a document or URL that describes actual features that would be a reason to use LACP/PaGP as opposed to simply hardcoding the etherchannel on? My assumption is there is some other use for the negotiation protocol that helps determine port status or link status (i.e. like UDLD) ... but i can't find any info. This is one doc i found but doesn't describe much:
