Hello,
?? On either a Mac OSX or XP box, I recommend at least 2 GB Ram and a 2.4GHZ Dual core processor. As Steve mentioned in his other email, the Mac runs it MUCH smoother and cleaner as you dont have to start dual instances of the Dynamips Server. I run the SP on my Mac and with all equipment running - 6 3640's and 3 7200's with 1 ATM and 2 3640's running with NM-ESW's as my switches I am only using about 15% of my processor and some RAM, this goes up and down depending on what services I start turning up i.e. when BGP gets up and running, it starts hogging things up.
My Mac Book Pro is 2.8 with 4GB and those are my results? :-)
Regards,
James
