On nbma a commonly ran into one that will catch you off guard is when
you have spokes that are on point-to-point subinterfaces and the hub
which is a multipoint physical or subinterface to terminate multiple
dlci's to these spokes . As ospf point to point network type can only
have a single adjacency you will get the first spoke up and adjacent
but other spokes will flap between full and exchange state. It is
considered basic knowledge but that one can stick you sometimes....
