I tried looking up the config guide to see if there was anything specific,
but no, nothing specifically mentioned.
As 'they' say in the old country -- "Non_broadcast is non_broadcast" ;-)
With that said, I would suggest we all know how to 'get around' the
implications of running a routing protocol that uses either bcast / mcast.
If you can not change the network type, what option have you? Broadcast
queue? If OSPF thinks it is on a multi-access network, what does this
mean? DR, BDR, etc ...
I am trying to work though ccbootcamp's labs and be comfortable with having
limitations on how and what I can configure. Mostly a pain in the butt ...
and you know the expression "no pain, no gain". I think this helps me.
