Hi Tim,

You are right, I cannot find the command either....strange. In RIP and EIGRP
this can be used in incoming direction, specifying the "gateway" where the
updates are coming from:

distribute-list gateway PREFIXLIST in <interface>

In OSPF, I guess you have to use the router id as with the distance command
in OSPF but I did not lab it up...

Is the above command undocumented?

 

I couldn't find it in the command reference or by using the command lookup
tool.

 

If the command is documented somewhere, could you post the link to it?

 

 

Also, when using this command with ospf, should the ip of the neighbor
router be specified with the router ID or the ip add assigned to the
interface from which the updates are coming?
