Hi Scott,

It has been absolutely rock solid. It is in operation with about 3,000 users
including a full unified comms solution for approx 6 months.

We got just 4 Blades occupied in each with full capacity, linking to 3750-E
edge stacks.
It is very fast and stable. We are just about to put a WiSM into the chassis
and upgrade the software release for full support.

Each server stack is connected via MEC's aggregated using LACP. It makes for a
very fast data channel, which is also resilient. I have designed it with the
VSS as a layer three core, using any connecting switches at layer two. It is
so nice to be utilising all of the links and have no protocols such as STP and
HSRP/GBLP. From the layer three core I have a Stub EIGRP area connecting the
WAN routers.

When I tested the failover and resiliency, I was looking at about 4 msec !!
.... The highest convergence was the EIGRP topology changes which were
obviously governed by the protocol attributes. !

Pretty impressive....

HTH,

Jon Humphries
