Even though it is scrolling quickly and you can not see your letters in all
the mess ... the router is still able to accept the command.

You may choose to test this, enable debugs and then slowly type the
command. You may see a 'back log' of messages still come through, but the
router will accept the command and the debugs will stop.

I prefer to write an access list for most of my debugs. It helps in keeping
the debugs as specific as possible (something else to test ;-)). HTH,
