Kelvin,

Aggregation is normally used to represent supernetting classful networks (as
in BGP). Summarization is generally used to represent grouping of networks
or subnets.

BGP uses the "aggregate-address" command for its aggregation, IGPs use the
"summary-address" command for theirs (except inter-area in OSPF which uses
the area-range command).

The terms are pretty much synonymous and will be used interchangeably by
most people.

Hi Group,

Someone share your understanding in Summarizations and Aggregations
difference? What context are they used in?
