Actually - Look at the sheer number of campus networks...
Look at Cisco's direction...
It will not be long before WAN interfaces are not as common as they are
today with technologies like Metro and MPLS become the "de facto" standard
if they are not already.
Remember - Cisco was only too recently considering a CCIE Switching (Note:
Routing is missing from the title.).
Perhaps this new CCNP came from that.
CCRP - Cisco Certified Routing Professional anyone?
