Hi John,
Congrats on your achievement. It's a great feeling, I know.

Go for both tracks if you can, in any order.

Trust me, the Security track is not as 'open' as you think. The closest to
the word 'Open' are the R&S and SP tracks which test candidates more on
their knowledge of protocols and technologies rather than products.

In my own experience, the Security track is just like it's younger sibling
(CCSP) as it tests mainly a candidate's knowledge of Cisco products.
