It may be a little off-topic, but it could be a legal task in the SP track
:-)
I have a MPLS enabled network with IPv6 enabled using 6PE routers. I also
got a full BGPv6 feed coming into one of the routers. I've noticed on that
particular router, that all IPv6 prefixes are assigned their own MPLS label.
When comparing with IPv4, none of the prefixes from the full BGPv4 routes
are assigned their own MPLS label.
I'm not sure whether this is expected to happen, but from a scalable point
of view, I think this is not scalable.
Hope someone has a clue.
