It depends on what capacity they are used in. For the most part they fall
under the IEEE standards.
While they offer a lifetime warranty, they do not promise that you will get
new hardware. It will most likely be refurbished. And the timeframe in which
you get them is not promised.
Also know that alot of the feature sets are wildly different from Cisco gear
and in some instances, you will find that your scaleability in terms of
architecture is limited.
I personally do not like them and find them to be very troublesome in a
Cisco environment.
