Anthony made a good point...I have been pacing myself with 8-hour labs up
until my lab date so I don't have to do the same ones twice in a timed
session. The last thing I want to do is develop a false sense of confidence
because I have memorized topologies or certain tasks. I try to get in the
habit of doing show cdp neighbor every time to diagram the actual physical
paths. I have picked up my speed from not being able to finish a lab to
completing them in under 5 hours - labs I have never done before. This gives
me plenty of time to develop good verification habits and discipline.
Then, as needed, I go back and just read through completed labs and solution
guides but I don't use them as a barometer of my speed. I leave that up to
the labs I haven't done yet.
