I wouldn't think ospf would run spf calculation if only one of the mlppp members went down. The bandwidth variable isn't going to change on the multilink interface when a member drops, thus ospf shouldn't recalculate.

Subject: MLPP - OSPF SPF Calculation

Hello,

I would like to know, does OSPF run SPF calculation if one of the link in
the MLPP bundle fails or all the links should be failed for OSPF run the
SPF.

My assumption is MLPP should be down (meaning all the links in the bundle
should be down) for OSPF to re-run the SPF calculation.

If you know any cisco documentaion regarding this please send the URL.

Thanks you ,

Raja
