I was recently doing a lab where the requirements were as follows:
- Use physical interfaces only
- R2 cannot send inverse arp
- Dont use frame map command
So if you disable per dlci inverse-arp and only permit the one dlci
which is needed for connection on the pvc ,so inverse-arp is providing
L2/L3 resolution , does it also provide for local interface / ip
resolution. As I am assuming if the requirement is full reachability
unless stated otherwise I am assuming all my locally IP enbled
interfaces , so even though the task doesnt say my local interface
doesnt have to be reachable I am guessing from the wording of the task
that the device that cannot send inverse arp and cannot use a frame
map statement he will not be able to ping his own local interface ?
