Hey Jonny,
Likely there would be a work visa involved and likely there would be an
expense to have it professionally processed (much as I pay people to secure
travel visas and expedited passport renewals, etc on my behalf). BUT...I
would want an employment contract fully executed before I even thought about
handing any money over. Unicast me if you like and give me the particulars
of this outfit - I'll see what I can see about their legitimacy. You may
also wish to do some googling and see what kind of a history they have.
Regards,
Scott

Subject: OT: Calls from recruiters
Hi,
I was wondering does anyone have experience with recruiters in the US
calling or emailing for jobs. I had someone email me for a job that was
based in the US, but they wanted me to pay them $1600 to process a visa. Is
this normal or even legal? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks..
