Hi All,

Happy Boxing Day!

One qns about OSPF Deadtime interval. When the deadtime interval expires, does
it normally generates this log

*Mar 1 01:50:06.663: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 1, Nbr 150.1.1.1 on Serial1/0.1
from FULL to DOWN, Neighbor Down: Dead timer expired
*Mar 1 01:50:33.807: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 1, Nbr 150.1.1.1 on Serial1/0.1
from LOADING to FULL, Loading Done

Based on the following Hub and Spoke setup
R1 - Hub, R2 & R5 - Spokes

R1 s1/0 - R2 s1/0
R1 s1/0 - R5 S1/0

I have used 'ip ospf network p2mp' on all the 3 routers' interfaces.

The symptons which i noticed is, each time the deadtime interval expires, R2
will generate this log messages, whereas both R1 and R5 DONT generate at all.

Just want to get this right, as OSPF is the heart of the lab.

Cheers
Nit
