Hi Guys,
I just wondering, when customer ask me wether why I choose a specific
catalyst model for their network design.
I want to ask about backplane, I don't know how to imagine it.
So When I see 2960 backplane on datasheet and the customer see it, they are
wondering, it has actually 8,8Gbps backplane. When a catalyst has only 24
ports 10/100, when all the port is full of traffic (even in real world , the
throughput never goes speed of 100) totally it's only 2,4 gbps right ?
So Anyone can explain how backplane can be use to design an enterprise
network ?
Thanks a lot in advance
